Achieving growth while having fun is not easy during the best of times, but it is far more difficult when we are put in a situation that is beyond our control. Agape Dental Clinic could very well be considered an anomaly as it happened to experience growth during Covid. The obstacles associated with growth and keeping the schedule filled were not limited to the external environment of Covid-19. True, Covid impacted the schedule with short notice cancellations and reluctance on the part of patients to book and complete their treatment. The situation was also compounded by a shortage of staff.  As a united team, we managed to get through the shortage with fun and laughter to boost morale while providing quality service to our patients. Our front-end and back-end teams came together seamlessly when we needed it most. The front end did not dodge staffing concerns.  Those who know or have been to Agape, know that we have a multicultural team, who celebrates and is proud of their diversity. They communicate well and above all, practise inclusiveness. They respect each other and leverage the skills that each individual brings to the clinic. They have full trust in each other to pull their weight, contribute to the best of their ability and work with honesty and integrity. Our team's adherence to honesty and integrity has also earned the trust of the patients. To assume that the success of the team is because it is old and has had time to know each other is incorrect. To be successful and excel, a dental team must have structure and defined goals that apply to the collective. This is something of a mantra amongst our team members and something Dr. Naheed Daya strongly advocates. Dr. Daya has implemented a culture of comradery and genuinely considers each team member as part of the work-family. It is heartening to note that team members seek input from their work-family for personal matters as part of their immediate circle of trust and friendship. The team also participates in developing goals and objectives, long term, and short term. Agape has been fortunate to have such wonderful individuals who practice inclusiveness especially when it comes to new hires. As part of our hiring process, we assess the skill sets of each candidate during the interview process, determine if had the same beliefs as our core team. Does the team have fun? Oh yes! Dr. Daya sometimes asks the new hires, Do you enjoy working at Agape and be honest?” Their answer was, “I have never had more fun while working! I look forward to coming to work.”

Anchor Dental Group is a wonderful group of many exceptional dental colleagues. The team is all very close in and out of the office. Coming to work every day is so much fun, and getting to do what you love with a group so close makes it even better! We are all working hard to provide the best dentistry experience for our patients at every appointment. We all take pride in doing this throughout our day and doing it at our very best ability. Our office is just the best!

Caring is defined as "displaying kindness and concern for others". That is the epitome of how the staff at Bay Dental Group treat every patient and each other daily. The team is made up of the most caring individuals that make each patient feel that they are the most important people in the world. They take the time to get to know patients and their families and form bonds that last many, many years. The front staff are warm and friendly and have unending patience when dealing with clients’ problems or concerns. The hygienists put all patients' minds at ease when they are feeling anxious and always listen with empathy and understanding. They help their elderly patients into their rooms and make them feel comfortable in a dental setting. The doctors are kind and compassionate and go out of their way to make themselves available whether it be for an emergency patient, a patient who has concerns about treatment or any other patient in their care. The staff has gone above and beyond for patients as evidenced by the following caring acts: driving patients home after appointments instead of calling cabs, making post-operatory calls to make sure patients are feeling comfortable after surgical procedures, helping them to their vehicles if they have mobility issues and sending care packages to Africa, Haiti and South America for those in need, just to name a few. Patients are given doctors' personal phone numbers if they are experiencing issues and need to call during off-hours. This caring attitude permeates into all aspects of the office, as staff are like family! The team enjoys spending time together and genuinely care about what's going on in each other's lives. It’s been said that “The simple act of caring is heroic” and if that holds true, then Bay Dental Group's patients are in the presence of heroes every day!

Belleville Dental Care always makes patient care their number one priority. The best interest of their patients is top of mind and they continue to educate themselves to be able to provide the best possible care.

We are one team. We trust and assume positive intent. always respect each other. Accountable to each other. always seek better ways to do things, prioritize what is needed first to take care of our patient needs and staff needs.

We have done such a great job through very difficult circumstances at the practice. Our unity made it possible to the whole office, with lots of communication, understanding and dedication.

The past two years have presented many challenges, the mandated COVID-19 closure and subsequent return to practice, staffing challenges, loss of the associate, facing the backlog of appointments with a smaller team, working and persevering at times at the peak of our capacity. Our team time and time again persevered. Time and time again came together. Time and time again put caring for each other and our patients at the forefront. Working through the demands of the past two years, our team demonstrates courage every single day.

The team at Dentistry at Lifestyles demonstrates tremendous unity for the past two years as they have navigated together through the challenges of COVID-19, change within the team with team members moving away or retiring and taking on new initiatives. Even under the most difficult of times the team has always worked together and collaborated to problem solve and overcome obstacles. The veteran team members are very welcoming and supportive of new team members. Despite all the difficulties going on in the world our team has continued to grow and prosper and work together toward a common goal of putting the needs of our patients first.

Greentree Dental has an amazing team that works well together. The team cares about each and every patient and makes sure that together the team is providing the best possible care.

Many of the team members have worked together for more than 10 years and have built strong relationships with patients. They have gained the trust of patients and provide care in a gentle and caring manner. Many patients comment about how comfortable they feel because of the way they are treated by the team. The team works together to accommodate patients who are in pain and will often work through lunch to fit emergency patients in. Patients are treated with empathy, caring and understanding in a non-judgemental manner - always striving to provide the best dental care possible. It is great to see patients with high anxiety become more comfortable with their dental visits!

This past year has been a year of big changes for the office - new staff, new dentists, learning new skills, Invisalign, Botox, Sedation and Implants. Everyone has taken in all the new protocols without batting an eye. The changes were implemented successfully due the support of this amazing team.
