About Leaders in Practice
Leaders in Practice aims to recognize individuals making a positive impact in the industry, and celebrates their accomplishments in the dental care profession.
Who we are recognizing
Dental care professionals are passionate about the oral health of Canadians and their communities. They work tirelessly to provide optimal patient care – often going above and beyond the standard of care.
The Leaders in Practice awards have been established by dentalcorp to recognize excellent leaders in the field, and pay tribute to these inspiring and exceptional individuals making a difference in the lives of Canadians.

How it works
The public nomination period is between September 1 and December 5, 2021. Once nominations close, a group of industry leaders will select a shortlist in each category.
Everyone is invited to vote for their choice of winners throughout the month of January. In order to validate information provided in nominations, dentalcorp may contact the nominee’s employers and/or colleagues to verify participation in industry groups or programs. Winners will be confirmed and notified in February.
Prizes include up to $5,000 and a profile in Oral Health.
All winners will be announced in partnership with Oral Health in April 2022.
