From a very young age, Meghan had her eyes set on a career in oral health care. Described as an “exemplary professional” and a “natural optimist with a can-do attitude” by colleagues, Meghan is a determined Dental Hygienist with a clear passion for her profession.
Just two years into her career, Meghan developed and implemented the Periodontal Program in the dental office in which she was employed. She further challenged herself to learn the duties of the administrative team and take on significant management responsibilities, including recruiting, hiring and training team members, as well as overseeing infection control at two office locations.
In addition to her clinical practice, Meghan works as a Practice Management Coach, assisting other oral health professionals in providing their patients with the highest standards of care.
When describing the most rewarding aspect of being a Dental Hygienist, Meghan states, “I love being able to make a difference in patients’ lives and motivating others to value dental hygiene treatment.” For Meghan, “There is nothing more fulfilling than seeing a patient through active therapy, having them return for their re-evaluation, and seeing the difference in their oral health.”
Meghan believes passion and excellence in patient care go hand-in-hand. “We need to deliver excellent care to achieve excellent results. Dentistry is an ever-changing field, so as a Dental Hygienist, my passion for my profession and excellence in patient care fuel my desire to constantly learn, adapt and grow."
